In 2023, supported by the Polish Ministry of Culture, they initiated a project commemorating the figure of the composer Szymon Laks, performing his music in Paris, Auschwitz and Warsaw.
Sosnowska-Garcías Duo was born within the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, Germany.
Both musicians - Zuzanna Sosnowska and Magí Garcías are active soloists, international prize-winners, university teachers and versatile chamber musicians. They have been influenced and inspired by working with renowned musicians such as the Artemis Quartet, the Quiroga Quartet, Wolfgang E. Schmidt, Jens Peter Maintz, Marta Gulyas, Dirk Mommertz, Troels Svane and Fernando Arias.
"It's catharsis, purification, coming back to the springs. There is no need to use words to tell whole truth about human and his destiny. And it's such powerful way. It took long time to recover from this extraordinary concert."
M. Borkowska.
"Perfect ensemble, great performers with the best technique and the highest intensity."
